Cold Chain LLC (“Cold Chain”) is pleased to announce its March, 2010 purchase of Flex-Panel® Indestructible Door Systems (“Flex Panel®”). Flex-Panel® was created by Dan Aragon, founder and owner of Industrial Insulation Systems (“IIS”). IIS, a respected Pacific Northwest insulation contractor and consultant, has manufactured and installed a number of Flex-Panel® systems. To enhance the development and growth of the Flex-Panel® family of products, Aragon sold all rights to produce and market Flex-Panel® to Cold Chain. Cold Chain has hired Mr. Aragon to oversee production and expand the Flex-Panel® line of products in the future. “By joining forces with Cold Chain, I have the depth of resources to truly facilitate the improvement of my designs,” stated Aragon. IIS is under contract to deliver, install and inspect all Flex-Panel® systems for Cold Chain. IIS will continue in its core business of industrial insulation construction, consultation and certification of temperature-controlled systems. Bolstered by proper capitalization and the expertise of Mr. Aragon, Cold Chain expects to greatly expand distribution of the Flex-Panel® systems. Flex-Panel® is an innovative, non-rigid, extremely durable, insulated cold storage door system. “We are excited to demonstrate the unique capabilities and cost-effectiveness of Flex-Panel® to the cold storage industry,” said Todd Lindsey, manager of Cold Chain.
